Sizing

Minnie + Ree know that few women fit the standard sizes. Some clothes seem to be made for women who have stilts for legs.  We design our clothing to fit "real" women and most pieces are adjustable in size.

Minnie + Ree clothing usually comes in two sizes - Small and Average.  Most designs are adjustable in fit.  Further details and measurements are given on the individual product pages.

*Sizing for Sonsie Swimwear

There is a lot of variation between and within various countries.  However the most important measurement for the Sonsie Swimwear tankinis and bikinis is around your rib cage (the Under-bust).  

Sonsie swimwear has been designed to fit bigger boobed, large bust, large cup size, ‘sonsie’ women.  If your bra cup size is C+, D, D+, E, F or G, then Sonsie swimwear is designed for you.  The designs are flexible so you don’t have to be precise about your cup, dress or back measurement.  There is only one size cup (like 'normal' swimwear) and it fits most women from a D-G cup. 

The Sonsie bikinis and tankinis do not have underwires in them.  We wanted a more comfortable swimsuit.  We did want some support though so we have swimwear rubber in all the bands of the swimwear.  This gives extra support and stops the straps turning into narrow strings that feel as if they are cutting into you.  The support in a Sonsie bikini or tankini is about half way between a traditional "string' bikini and a bra.
