Lily linen gauze dress in Ivory Stripes

The Lily Gauze dress is made from fine gauzy (see through) linen in an over-sized, unstructured shape. It works well as a dress or tunic, you may want to wear a slip underneath.

This linen gauze dress has been washed since it was sewn. It still needs lots of love because it is Special. Wash gently by hand or in the machine, maybe use a laundry bag. And wash by itself for the first few times or else it will feel that you don’t think it is Special enough, and it will put linen lint all over your other clothes in revenge.

This dress has been designed to be oversized because linen gauze is, yep you guessed it, Special. Note that the seams have been triple stitched. This won’t have a happy ending if you put too much stress on the seams, it’s not meant to be fitted, keep it oversized. This also means you shouldn’t keep your pet rock collection in the pockets.

Wash, hang to dry in the shade, love the wrinkles. The linen will continue to soften over time.
